Deep and heartfelt condolences from the Runko family. What more can we say than a "life well-lived". We both enjoyed many opportunities to be with Ed and Marion; they could not have been a more gracious and entertaining couple. We were truly blessed to share their friendship.
Rudy worked alongside Ed during his twenty years in the Budget Division and never realized the extensive services that Ed had devoted to our armed forces during wartime, and to his church and community at home. Ed was a man of humility who always, unselfishly, helped others. He will be missed and loved always.

Mr. Babyak was a wonderful man who cared deeply about his wife of many years, and his family and community. He was my Little League coach many years ago on the same team as his son Ned. As a Catholic High graduate ('66) I remember him fondly being around everyone and participating in numerous events, especially when he and Marion lived around the corner on 7th Avenue. He was a great guy and will be missed. I remember seeing he and Gretchen around Highpointe where we lived for a number of years. Dan Barrett

Ned, Jackie, Gretchen..so sorry to hear of Ed’s passing. Your folks were amazing, active and engaged in life into their advanced years. I have fond memories of them both. I know how much you supported them and how hard the loss of a parent is, even at Ed’s good age. Sending hugs.

Dear Gretchen and Ned,
I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's death. I have such fond memories of him being a part of the Lansingburgh and St. Augustine's communities. He was our next door neighbor for a short time years ago and both he and your mother were such great neighbors. I will miss seeing him in the center aisle at 4:00 pm mass. Know that he is resting happily with your mother in the safety of God's Hands.
