Obituary of William E. Millington

William E. "Bill" Millington, 53, of Lansingburgh, beloved husband of 38 years of Patricia Ann Millington of Lansingburgh, died unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Born in Troy, Bill was the son of Edward Millington of Lansingburgh and the late Barbara Deo Millington. He was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School. Bill was actively employed at RPI for the past 20 years by Sodexho Food Services as Kitchen Management Chef. "Bill", "Dad" or "Poppy" loved nothing more than his family and the times they spent together as well as providing for them. Beloved husband of 38 years to Patricia, devoted father of Chad Millington of Lansingburgh, Erica Millington of Waterford, Justin (Alissa) Millington and Ashley Millington, both of Lansingburgh, son of Edward Millington of Lansingburgh, cherished "Poppy" of Riley, Jacob, Adriana, Keira, Katrina, Natalia, Bella, Mark and the late Lucas, brother of Tina (Kenneth) Dillion of Waterford, Lisa (Frank) Wager and Edward (Diane) Millington, both of Lansingburgh and Keith Allen (Val) Millington of Cohoes, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday, December 26, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, NY 12182. Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, December 26, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
