Obituary of Dylan J. Dinardo

Please share a memory of Dylan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Dylan J. Dinardo, 30, of Lansingburgh, entered into eternal life on Sunday, August 2, 2020. Born in Troy, NY, Dylan is the son of Joseph R. “Joe” Dinardo and Michele M. “Shelly Shu” Shufelt Dinardo (Ken Bouchard) and was a graduate of Stillwater High School and Hudson Valley Community College. Dylan loved fishing, camping, snowboarding, his trips to the ocean, going to the gym with his mom as well as his trips to the casino. He was excellent at card games and especially at Poker and Texas Hold’em. Dylan was also a pretty darn good athlete and competed with the Stillwater Battle Football program and as a Stillwater High School Warrior in baseball, football and basketball. He also led his Nor Rock Vikings Pop Warner football team in New Hampshire to the Super Bowl championship as their Quarterback. He was a true leader wherever he went. Dylan was the most caring, compassionate and forgiving person one could ever know and touched so many lives. He was always there to lend a helping hand regardless of the situation and would give you the shirt off of his back. Dylan was wise beyond his years and was truly an old soul. He will be missed by all and will be remembered for touching not only our lives but those of so many others. Dylan was employed by MJ Pelkey Pavement Maintenance Specialists in Cohoes and by the City of Troy Department of Public Works. Dylan is the beloved son of Joe and Shelly, devoted brother of Ashley Dinardo (Steve Feit), Niko J. Dinardo, Matthew Blair and Mackenzie Bouchard, adored grandson of Geraldine Tombolleo Dinardo and the late Joseph R. Dinardo, Sr. and James D. and Patricia Wisher Shufelt, loving nephew of JoAnne Christiansen (David), Christine Dinardo, Angela Dinardo-Suppies (late, Robert), James J. Shufelt (JoMarie), Patrick Shufelt and Nickolena Topping (Steve) and the beloved best friend of Jennifer Cole. Dylan is also survived by his loving great aunts, great uncles, niece Natalia, nephews Dominic and Alek, cousins, friends, his canine companions; Louie, Layla and Finn and his feline companion; JoJo. Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours for Dylan on Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115th Street and Fourth Avenue in Lansingburgh), Troy, NY 12182, to his Funeral Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Augustine’s Church in Lansingburgh and the interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Troy.
