Obituary of Teresa May Hill

Teresa May “Terri” Hill, 67, of Troy, peacefully entered into eternal life at home Saturday, September 18, 2021.

Born in Troy, New York, she was the daughter of the late Lincoln and Meredith Martel Hill and the beloved mother of the late Thomas Peabody who was 7 years old at the time of his passing.

Terri was passionate about those she cared for as a Home Health Aide for nearly 30 years with Accent on Health and had previously been employed at Snyder’s Printing, Masher’s Produce and Unity House.

Terri loved shopping and being a caregiver to not only her clients but also for her family as well as those in her neighborhood/community.

She had been very involved with the neighborhood teen center and as well as the Hillside Organization prior to it joining Unity House.

Beloved mother of Michael Hill, Jimmy, Mark, Michael Craig (Sandra) and Traci Peabody and the late Brian Peabody, loving sister of William (Delores) Hill, Beatrice (Alphonsa) Brown and the late Jeannie Gurvitch, also survived by many grandchildren and several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews and their families.

Funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182 followed by interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Troy.

Relatives and friends are invited and my call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
