Obituary of Steven Paul Carrozza, DMD

Steven Paul Carrozza, DMD, 72, of Clifton Park, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday Oct. 31, 2021.  He was born on June 19, 1949 in Brooklyn, NY and was the son of the late Joseph Vincent and Jean Mazzarisi Carrozza.  Dr. Carrozza was a graduate of Erasmus Hall in Brooklyn, SUNY Albany and Fairleigh Dickinson University where he received his doctorate of Dental Medicine.  He was a US Army veteran having served honorably from 1981-1988.  He practiced for the first 7 years of dentistry in the US Public Health Service followed by 7 years in the  United States Army and his last 26 years he was in private practice in Galway, NY.  He was a member of the  American Legion Mohawk Post 1450 in Halfoom and contributed regularly to the Disabled American Veterans.

He was the beloved husband of Ann M. Hackett Carrozza, whom he married on Oct. 17, 1969 and celebrated 52 years of wonderful marriage.  He is the devoted father of Lisa Marie (Herbert) Roberts of Middletown, OH; dear brother of Joseph K. (Cheryl) Carrozza of Albany, NY and Barbara Nan (Attila) Kaloz of Washingtonville, NY; also survived by 19  nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Friday in St. Edward the Confessor Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Rd. Clifton Park, NY 12065

Interment with full military honors will be in the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd. Schuylerville, NY at 12 noon on Friday.
