Obituary of Muberra Szretter

Muberra Szretter, 83, of Riverview Road, Vischer Ferry, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Albany. Muberra was born, raised and educated in Hopa, Turkey and was the daughter of the late Mehmet and Mesture Vedat Jordan and the beloved wife of 50 years to Edward Szretter until his passing on December 15, 2011. Muberra was a proud woman, loved gardening and took great pride in her community as well as pride in the fact that she raised the best tomatoes in Vischer Ferry. She was employed for over 40 years in the fashion industry by Oscar de la Renta in Manhattan. She is survived by her brother-in-law; Stanley Szretter and his wife Katherine of Rexford and several nieces and nephews and their families. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her committal service at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville, NY 12871 on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. (please gather inside the cemetery entrance between 9:05 a.m. and 9:25 a.m.) Muberra's family wishes to express their sincere thanks Peter Lauber of Community Hospice.
