Obituary of Catherine A. Adams

Catherine Ann Adams, 90, formerly of Johnsonville, Lansingburgh and Halfmoon, NY, peacefully passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at the Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Little Falls.

Born in Johnsonville, New York, she was the daughter of the late Elwin J. and Rosemary Lentner Brenenstuhl and was a graduate of Knickerbacker Middle School and Lansingburgh High School and the beloved wife of the late George Adams.

Mrs. Adams retired in 2000 from the Shenendehowa Central Schools in Clifton Park where she had been employed for 25 years.

Catherine was member of YMCA, the Halfmoon Senior Center and faithfully worshipped at Harvest Church in Clifton Park and previously at the First Presbyterian Church of Lansingburgh.

Devoted mother of Rick Adams of East Greenbush, NY, Roberts Adams of Altus, OK, and Mark (Gabriele) of Rome, NY; sister of Elizabeth (Kenneth) Gaylord of Melrose, Richard (Barbara) Brenenstuhl of Melrose, Charles (Gail) Brenenstuhl of Queensbury, George (Mary Lou) Brenenstuhl of West Palm Beach, FL and the late Robert Brenenstuhl and the late Ralph Brenenstuhl; cherished grandmother of Joshua, Carrie, Sean, Stephanie, Brian and the late Christopher Adams; great grandmother of Liam Michael and Charlotte Victoria Wakeman, Alex and Ollie Adams also survived by several nieces and nephews.

There are no public services.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the White-Sanvidge Funeral Home, 58 Leversee Rd. (RT-40 in Speigletown) Troy, NY 12182.

Catherine’s family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to all the staff at Alpine Rehab and Nursing for their dedication and compassion in the care of Catherine.
