Obituary of Lisa Marie Anderson

Lisa M. Anderson, 47, of Eagle Mills, NY, passed following a brief illness, surrounded by family and friends at Samaritan Hospital. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of David J. and Maryann Anderson. Lisa graduated from Tamarac High School, and Susquehanna University with a BS in Communications in 1998.

As a compassionate animal lover, she volunteered at “AnimaLovers” and “Hudson Mohawk Humane Society”. Simultaneously, she volunteered for the Wynantskill Food Pantry.

She is survived by her loving parents and a brother, Peter Anderson of Glenmont, his wife, Jill, and children, Bennett Anderson and Sawyer Montag.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 11, 2023 at the Brunswick Presbyterian Church, 42 White Church Lane, Troy, NY 12180 with Pastor Bill Henderson, officiating.  Friends are invited to call at the church for 1 hour prior to the service. The interment will be in Eagle Mills Cemetery. Following the burial, there will be a luncheon and time of fellowship at the church.
