Obituary of Marilyn Ruth Emerick

Marilyn Ruth Emerick, 91 of Greenwich, NY, passed peacefully in her home Wednesday, August 9, 2023.

Born October 7th, 1931. She was an extremely hard-working, savvy, businesswoman at Emerick Associates Inc. a family business started by her and her beloved husband Paul in 1967. 

Marilyn was an animal lover who spoiled countless pets and always had a dog at her side. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and watching golf. She spent time in her younger years hitting the slopes for downhill ski adventures along with many years at various motorsports tracks supporting local sportsmen and modified drivers. She loved opening her home to family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded by her loving husband, Paul of 53 years, along with brothers Billy, Jack and sister Marge.

Survivors include siblings, Warren Hopson, Doris Taylor, her children Gary Emerick (Donna), Wayne Emerick (Nancy), grandchildren Scott Emerick (Kelly), Timothy Emerick (Rebecca), Amy Clerkin (Peter), Emily Emerick and Jeffrey Emerick and 6 great grandchildren. She will be missed by many.

In honor of her wishes a family service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to area animal shelters in memory of Marilyn.
