Obituary of Carol J. Conway

Carol J. Conway, 93, of Clifton Park passed away peacefully on July 22, 2023 at Saratoga Hospital.  She was born in Wadsworth, OH and was the daughter of the late Maynard and Jane Parker.  Carol was a graduate of Wadsworth High School and received her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University.  She had been a research assistant of the Empire State College in Saratoga Springs, and earlier, a stewardess for American Airlines.  She had also been a girl scout troop leader in Clifton Park and was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church. 

She is the beloved wife of John F. Conway, whom she married in 1955; devoted mother of Kathleen Dorsey of Pittsboro, NC, James (Pamela) Conway of Leominster, MA and the late Jane Werner (James of San Jose, CA); cherished grandmother of Lauren Werner and Brian Werner; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 11:00 am  Corpus Christi Church, Ushers, NY.   A calling hour will be held from 10-11 am in the church prior to the Mass.

Interment will be in the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY at 1;00 PM
