Frank’s Accommodation Medal for Heroism. He never really spoke about the horrors that he had seen, or how courageous he was. He really only spoke about his buddies, and a few of the good and funny memories of sticking together and making it through that tough time. They gave him the nickname “Rock” because he was the smallest guy, and he was tough. He would never quit, and would often volunteer for difficult/ jobs. Very proud of my humble, and brave Dad.

Frank in Vietnam. He could not say enough good things about the young men he served with.

I met Frank at Norton Company and Frank became a great friend during my time at the company. Frank taught me a lot about making sandpaper and always was there to help. Frank was a great man and I’m proud to have known him. He never talked about himself but I knew that Frank was special and everyone respected him.
Sorry to see another great hero leave us in such a short time on earth.
