Obituary of Michael E. Dowling

Michael E. Dowling, 55, of Ballston Lake passed away on July 8, 2024 at his home of natural causes. He was born in Schenectady, NY on Jan. 22, 1969 and was the beloved son of Robert C. and Victoria Uss Dowling. Michael was a graduate of Notre Dame/Bishop Gibbons High School in Schenectady, the University of Notre Dame and SUNY Albany having duel master’s degrees in Computer Science. He retired from KAPL in Niskayuna as an IT Specialist after 18 years of service. Michael loved flying remote airplanes. He played track in high school and was a Star Trek fan. He had been a communicant of St. Edward the Confessor Church in Clifton Park.

In addition to his beloved parents Bob and Vicki, he is survived by his siblings, Robert C. Dowling, Jr. (Mary), Jeanne M. Dowling (Christos Cosfol), Stephen V. Dowling (Cheryl), Kenneth C. Dowling and the late Lawrence J. Dowling; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated privately at St. Edward the Confessor Church in Clifton Park. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna.
