John was a dear friend to my husband Mike. Mike first met John when he was a patient where Mike worked. They became instant friends. Mike would go to Indian lake to visit him just about every month. I only met him recently and was glad that I did. He was a special man.

When humanity needed more "troopers" they sent John! He was a pioneer, ahead of his time; bringing new concepts and innovative ideas to solve old world problems!
Our in depth conversations about EVERYTHING were paths of bread crumb trails and investigative leads that opened our minds to new ideas about old standards and fictitious fables!
John led us to research new perspectives on ideas that were stuck in the solidified mud of history. We'd dirty our shovels, report back our findings, and the volley of controversial dialog started our marathon-long conversations!
Memorized by the massive trail of cover-ups and misguided public "intel," we would debate the plot twists over delicious meals that would make world renowned culinary artist's ask for Judy's recipies! Her kitchen magic is a gift and their combined art of mastering the smoke pit is second to none!
Together, they showed us the humility of humanity. They supported friends, family, and each other through the best and the toughest of times without wavering. By their example, we know what this world needs more of right now! Allowing us to lean on their experience and strengths, when nothing in the world was making sense, pulled us through all the recent puppet & clown shows! We thank God for their collaborative efforts!
Their combined wisdom would quell the "current crazy," but then, of course, John would send us down a whole new rabbit hole and Judy would tell us where to start digging!
John & Judy extended their time, patience, friendship, love, concern, advice, advanced knowledge, culinary works of art, and amazing Hummingbird speckled views on Indian Lake as a unified team. We are humbled to have been welcomed into their "snowy" little slice of heaven on earth!
In loving memory of John, our "investigative shovels," will stay dirty as we keep digging and unearthing alternative narratives that make more sense than the textbook history that he taught us to question!
We learned so much, but we know he is STILL guiding us from his newly embraced, higher dimensioned platform!
With our continued love,
Bek & Eddie

My son and I met John about 20 years ago at snowy mountain.
From the start we knew that he was very knowledgeable about almost everything .
He encouraged us to go up the mountain and see different areas to hunt.
In fact he came with me a couple of times and I had trouble keeping up with him.
A very energetic and humble person to say the least.
We will miss him dearly
And I hope he still sends me in the right direction from above
Truly a great man
