Obituary of Paul R. Hebert
Paul R. Hebert, 83, of Troy, entered into eternal life on Friday, September 27, 2024.
Born in 1941, he was the son of the late Dr. Julian A. and Victoria Serafin Hebert and the beloved husband of 47 years to Carole A. Dabkowski Hebert who passed on August 3, 2011. They were high school sweethearts who graduated from Catholic Central High School, Class of 1959. Paul retired after 30 years from the NYS Dept. of Corrections in Albany where he had been the director of training.
Paul found his greatest joy in spending time with his family and friends. A devoted and loving grandpa to seven, he loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and gathering with the family for special celebrations, holidays, or simple family dinners. He also enjoyed gathering with the Frear Park group and dinners with friends old and new. His vivacious spirit, good nature, and generous smile will be missed.
