Born on November 12, 1946 in Elnora, NY, Ray lived a life dedicated to family, service, and community. He grew up attending Shenendehowa Central High School and earned his degree from Hudson Valley Community College in 1967.

Ray is survived by his sons, Jason (Melodie) of Virginia and Mark (Rebecca) of North Carolina; his beloved grandchildren, Liam Gregory and Julianna Rae; and his sister, Arlene Quinn of Rotterdam. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith A. Crawford (Kosinski); his son, Gregory Walter Crawford; parents, Raymond Francis Crawford and Elsie Joan Crawford (Noonan); and his sister Barbara Drake.
