Obituary of Christopher J. Caufman

Christopher J. “Chris” Caufman, 42, of King’s Isle Apts., peacefully entered into eternal life surrounded by his family on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany.

Born in Niskayuna, Chris is the son of John and Susan Branch Caufman of Clifton Park. He was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School and attended Clinton County Community College in Plattsburgh, Jefferson County Community College in Watertown, and Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, PA.

Chris had been employed at Ushers Machine & Tool Co. Inc. in Round Lake and was previously employed as a Brewmaster at Sackets Harbor Brewing Co. in Sackets Harbor, NY.  He was an avid golfer, a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and an animal and dog lover.  

Chris was the beloved son of Susan and John, and cherished brother of Heather and Ryan Mahoney of New Hartford, NY.  He shared a special bond and mutual loving relationship with his cherished nephew, Colin Mahoney. 

A private service will be held at a later date.
