Obituary of Ambadibeedu S. Shetty

Ambadibeehu S. Shetty, 92, of Windsosr Drive in Schenectady died on Wednesday,  April 25, 2018 at Ellis Hospital after a brief illness.  He was born in Katapady, India on June 8, 1925 and was the son of the late Belle R. and Saraswathy Shetty.  He was a graduate of Annamalai University in Chennai, India with his degree in Engineering.  He retired from the State of India Public Works as an Engineer.  He was a member of the Hindu Temple in Albany.  He is the husband of  the late Shantha Shetty who died in 2014.

Ambadibeehu is the father of Suman Shetty, Sandya Rai and Sonia Shetty; brother of Dr. A.R. Shetty and Vimala Shetty both of India; also survived by 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Hindu funeral services were held on Thursday at 12 noon in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.  Cremation followed at the Gardner Earl Memorial Crematory in Troy.
