Iryna - Mykola and I are so deeply sorry for your loss. In the short time that we knew Kevin we absolutely loved this incredible artist and gentle man. He made me cry when he sang Реве та Стогне. I will never forget that beautiful voice and him singing one of my favotite Bandurist songs. May our Lord, Jesus Christ continue giving you the strength to carry on. Vichna Pamyat. God Bless you. We love you. Halya, Mykola & мама Kateryna.

I was I in the Grove Jr High band with Kevin and I was in the pit orchestra in the musical Oliver, Kevin played Sykes. He was an amazing musician, far beyond his years playing the trumpet and then going into choir. I’m so happy to see that he was able to have a career doing what he loved.
When my daughter started at Grove Jr High and being in the band, i would go into the band room. I would often think and talk about this amazing trumpet player to my kids. It always amazed me that this 12 year old could play at a level of a professional.
He possessed a wonderful gift, I’m honored that I can say I played in band with him.
I wish for the family to find some comfort in knowing that he affected so many people in such a positive way. He is truly missed.

Just thought of a funny memory from High School:
Kevin and I were the first ones to go through the drive through at McDonalds in Elk Grove - without a car. Yes, we walked through it and it was definitely HIS idea!
We will miss you, Keeser!

Kevin was a great friend to my brother, Brian Dalbke, in high school. He was at our house often. He was a wonderful person and a phenomenal musician. I was in awe when I heard him sing or play. He will be missed greatly. Rest In Peace Kevin.

I am so sorry to hear this news. We were praying for Kevin’s recovery and for him to be able to experience the great joy of having a child. Heaven gains a great man. So many great memories growing up. Kevin did have a way to make you feel like he was your best friend, no matter how far the distance or how long since we last spoke. We now pray for Kevin’s soul and for his family and friends in this difficult time.
All our love and prayers,
Brian Dalbke and family

So sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure to sing with Kevin at Illinois State. I was actually just teaching about Bernstein last week and mentioned Kevin's talent to my students, remembering our performance of Trouble In Tahiti. He was always fun, cheerful, and full of knowledge. He'll be missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Kevin at Nationwide for several years. He always made me laugh. While I never got to see him perform his artistic nature was still evident. This past year as Kevin's manager I saw another side of Kevin: his strength and his devotion to his wife. I recall the day he told me about his diagnosis. I think it was the same day he found out and his primary concern was Irina. When we communicated during this past year his ability to put his wife and everyone else (including our office) first amazed me. He also always seemed so positive. I always liked Kevin but my respect for him deepened tremendously during this past year. His determination, positivity and love for his wife were truly on a personal level for me inspiring.
He will be missed.
