Obituary of James A. Mansell

James A. “Jim” Mansell, 84, of Waterford, beloved husband of over 41 years of Alice M. Ryan Mansell of Waterford, peacefully entered into eternal life on Saturday, June 8, 2019.

Born and educated in Rye Beach, NY, he was the son of the late Allan Mansell and Elizabeth C. Peiper Mansell.

Jim retired from Cummins Diesel in Albany where he had been a Diesel Mechanic for many years.

He was a member of the Teamster’s Local.

Beloved husband of Alice, son-in-law of Edward Ryan, brother-in-law of Maureen (David) Taft, Patricia Ryan, Kathleen (Gary) Tobin, Michael K. Ryan and Edward J. Ryan, Jr., also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Jim’s wishes, there are no public calling hours or funeral services.

Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204, in memory of James A. Mansell.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, NY 12182.
